Search pCloud your office’s filing in your AI knowledge base.

The pCloud folders you select – contracts, receipts, plans, scans and photos – come into the knowledge base, connected rather than uploaded. Access is read-only; nothing in pCloud is changed.

Connection

How the connection works

You grant permission via pCloud itself: you sign in with your pCloud account and choose the folders to be read. Access is read-only and limited to your selection; nothing in pCloud is changed. With a business account, the account owner consents to this once.

Once set up, synchronisation runs automatically: new and changed documents from pCloud are added without anyone having to upload anything.

Set-upOne click, included in the set-up: you connect via your pCloud account, subject to admin consent in your account. We discuss in advance which folders are read – in a small office, usually directly with the person who set up the account.

Documents

Typical content: pCloud

  • One folder per customer or client, often maintained in the same structure for years
  • Scanned insurance policies, contracts, official notices and signed powers of attorney as PDF
  • Receipts and bank statements that customers uploaded to a folder themselves via a shared link
  • Property brochures, land register extracts and energy performance certificates for individual properties
  • Photos from the phone that ended up in pCloud via automatic backup
  • Older files copied in when switching from an external hard drive or another storage service

Start

Before a connection is set up

You connect it in one click via your account, and it is included in the set-up, subject to admin consent in your account. Together we agree which folders and areas to include.

You can also upload files, whole folders, emails, photos and voice notes at any time. In the demo you see the answers using sample documents from your industry; you check them against your own documents in the first weeks after go-live.

Preliminary check

What we check in advance

Before we start, we clarify whether documents are in the encrypted pCloud Crypto area: those files can only be read with your own key and are not included when access is granted via the account. We check whether the permission in pCloud can be limited to individual folders or whether the folder selection is made in junova. We also look at whether this is a personal account or a business account with several users – folders that were only shared with you depend on the sender’s account. junova reads the current version of a file; older versions and files in the trash are not included.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about this connection

There are only three of us and we have a single pCloud account. Is that an option?

Yes, pCloud works well for small offices too. junova reads through the account your folders are in, and you choose which of them are included. You define who sees what in junova separately, using roles – even if everyone shares one account in pCloud.

Some of our documents are in pCloud Crypto. Do they come along?

No. The encrypted area is designed precisely so that only you can look inside with your key – granting access via the account does not change that. Documents meant for the knowledge base would have to be in an ordinary folder. We discuss before we start whether that is an option for you and which documents deliberately stay out.

Our folders are called “New”, “Old” and “Misc”. Is that a problem?

No. junova searches the content, not just the folder name: the text of the policy, the scanned notice, the receipt. A folder called “Misc” contributes little as an attribute, but it does no harm either. The system reads customer, date and document type from the document itself; a person confirms the document type in the first run. In the first weeks after go-live, we go through real questions with you to see how this looks with your documents.

The temp should see property brochures, but not commission statements. Is that possible?

Yes, via document types and roles in junova: property brochures, floor plans and energy performance certificates for everyone; commission statements and contracts only for certain roles – regardless of which folder the file is in. The sharing settings in pCloud are not copied one to one and remain untouched. Before we start, we agree with you which roles you need.
