We don’t replace the system you support.

The knowledge base reads documents from the system you support – alongside folders, mailboxes and whatever other documents the company has. Access is read-only or via an export only; before we start, we check with you whether and how that works with the system in question. Your existing business stays yours.

Where the connection ends

We don’t write anything back

Access is read-only, nothing more. The connection creates no records, changes no master data and rearranges nothing in the database. The data in the system you support stays exactly as your client keeps it.

We don’t take over maintenance

Updates, licences, support and backups for the system stay with you. We work from an interface or an export – so we have no reason to suggest anything different to your client.

We don’t go around your contract

If your client has questions about the system, we refer them back to you – not to the vendor and not to a competitor. Anything we see of your system, we use only for the connection.

We don’t open anything to the outside

The knowledge base runs as a separate instance on our servers in Germany, not in your client’s network. Data from their network is encrypted and mirrored into this instance over outgoing connections only; no port is opened and no remote access is set up. You’ll find the details in the technical description we send you in advance.

What we need from you

The connection options – mirroring file storage, access provided by the vendor or a scheduled export – are described under Integrations. A connection via a database export comes with ongoing support, which covers monitoring and adjustments after updates – see Pricing.

Two ways of working together

You keep supporting, we connect

Your client hires us for the knowledge base; you stay responsible for the system. Before we start, we check with you whether and how it can be connected. If something goes wrong with the interface later on, we contact you – not your client.

You bring us into the conversation

If a client asks you how to make their documents searchable, you can bring us in. We present ourselves as exactly what we are: the provider of the knowledge base. We agree a referral fee with you in advance.

30 minutes by phone or video: which system, which interface and which approach could work. You get the technical description either way – even if nothing comes of it.
