What junova does

Your documents come together in one place: quotations, plans, reports, contracts, emails with their attachments. You ask questions in ordinary sentences, just as you would ask a long-serving colleague. Every answer shows the source in your documents – the numbered reference opens the original so you can check for yourself.

It covers the knowledge your company has written down: instructions, service reports, project documents, contracts, correspondence. Records of what was sold, ordered and invoiced stay in your industry-specific software. Before we start, we check whether and how documents from it can be brought into the knowledge base. junova only reads from it and never changes anything there.

What you do with it day to day

All documents in one place – including those on paper

Scans and photos become searchable too. Handwriting is the hardest case.

Your documents come together in one place, and scans and photos go through text recognition (OCR). The system suggests the customer, project and date; a person confirms the document type, because that decides who can see it.

Attachments from your mailbox, without saving them first

Attachments come straight from the mailbox – no saving, no moving.

Attachments come straight from the mailbox, with no need to save or move them. Outlook in Microsoft 365 and Gmail in Google Workspace connect in one click, subject to admin consent in your account.

You ask in full sentences – and see where the answer comes from

The search works by meaning, not keywords. Every statement carries a numbered reference to the source.

You ask the way you would ask a colleague. The search works by meaning, even if the file is called “Scan_0047.pdf”. Every statement carries a numbered reference that opens the source in the original.

On screen in the office, on your phone on site

Runs in the browser, nothing to install: on a computer, tablet or phone.

Nothing to install: you simply open a page in the browser on a computer, tablet or phone. Everyone signs in with their own account, and the connection is encrypted. Type a question, read the answer, open the source.

Your team adds new documents themselves

Drag it in or take a photo. Once confirmed, it’s ready for questions.

Your team drags a new document into the browser or, when out and about, sends a photo from their phone. As soon as someone has confirmed the document type, it’s ready for questions. That way the knowledge base grows as you work.

Not everyone sees everything – you decide who sees what

Access by role and document type, set once.

Access depends on role and document type, not on individual files. Only management sees payslips; the whole team sees the maintenance instructions. If you don’t have access, the system tells you so.

Dictate what only exists in people’s heads

Speak a note into your phone, read it through, approve it.

A lot of knowledge isn’t written down anywhere. After a job, your technician dictates a note into their phone, and it is transcribed and tidied up. You read it through, change it if needed and approve it; only then is it added to the knowledge base.

What we take care of

Organised your way, not ours

Organised by customer, project, equipment or location, in your own terms.

Before we start, we look at what documents your company produces and what you search by day to day: customer, project number, equipment or location. Everything is then organised along those lines, in your own terms.

Your documents are in from day one

We load your documents first, then introduce your team using them.

We load your documents into the knowledge base in advance, so the first questions are asked of your real documents. Then we introduce your team using your own documents, and you keep a short guide.

Six weeks of support, then sign-off

We support you until sign-off against twenty questions from the kickoff.

At the kickoff we write down twenty questions. In the weeks that follow, we look at what people ask and what is missing; in week six, we use those questions for sign-off. The quotation sets out what happens if they don’t pass.

Day to day: a dedicated contact

Updates, backups and a contact person who knows your instance.

We take care of updates, security patches and backups. If something isn’t working, you speak to a dedicated contact who knows your knowledge base and how it is organised.

Your documents stay yours

Your own instance on servers in Germany, no training on your data.

Every company gets its own instance on servers in Germany; the language model runs in the EU. Your documents are not used for training; this is set out in the contract, and the data processing agreement (DPA) is included.

Demo · 30 minutes by video

A demo shows what an answer with its source looks like better than any description.

Using sample documents from your industry: how you ask, what the source looks like and what happens when your documents don’t contain the answer.

Question from your team
What are the maintenance instructions for the lifting platform?
Answer

The annual maintenance covers a visual inspection of the hydraulics, a function test of the emergency lowering and lubrication of the guide rails.

You’ll find what the set-up and ongoing operation include in the scope of services on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions about the product

Which file types can we add?

The usual office formats: PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text and CSV files, as well as images and scans (JPG, PNG, TIFF). Plus emails with attachments (.eml/.msg), ZIP archives and voice notes. Scans and photos go through text recognition (OCR), including older documents. How well that works only becomes clear with your own documents; handwriting is the hardest case.

How many employees can use it?

As many as you have – from a two-person office to a company with dozens of staff. You decide who sees which documents through roles and document types. The number of users does not affect the price: you pay a flat fee per company, not a per-user licence.

Do we need our own IT staff for this?

Not for running the knowledge base: we take care of set-up, updates, security and backups, and your instance always runs on our servers – nothing is installed on your computers. It runs in the browser, and we show your team how to use it during the introduction. If you want to include files from a server at your company, a small read-only component runs on that server, not on individual workstations. If you have an IT service provider, we arrange access with them.

Who owns the data, and what happens when the contract ends?

Your documents remain your property at all times. What happens to them is governed by the contract and the data processing agreement (DPA). When the contract ends, you receive an export of your documents, and then they are deleted. Your documents are not used to train AI models.

Can we see it before we commit?

Yes. In a 30-minute video demo, we use sample documents from your industry to show how questions are answered and what the source looks like, before you agree to anything. You then test it with your own documents in the first weeks after go-live.

What junova is not

It never sends anything on its own: if you ask (in the Premium package), it turns an answer into a Word, Excel or PDF document or an email draft – which you then send yourself. It does not automate processes or make decisions. And it does not replace an ERP: the ERP knows what was sold – the knowledge base knows how it is done. It is built for one thing: answering questions about documented company knowledge, with sources. If you are looking for process automation, talk to us – that’s a separate matter.

See it for yourself in a demo.
