Search OneDrive your own and shared folders in your AI knowledge base.

The connection uses Microsoft’s official permission flow: you sign in with your Microsoft account and choose the OneDrive folders to be read – your own folders as well as folders colleagues have shared with you. Access is read-only and limited to your selection; nothing in OneDrive is changed. Depending on your licence and settings, an administrator consents to this once.

Once set up, synchronisation runs automatically: new and changed documents from OneDrive are added without anyone having to upload anything.

Before we start, we clarify whether this is OneDrive from Microsoft 365 for business or a personal OneDrive – that is a different kind of access. Shared folders belong to the account that shared them: if that account is deleted or the share is withdrawn, the folder drops out of the selection.
