Who is behind junova

junova is made by Goma-it e.U. in Bludenz, Vorarlberg, Austria, for businesses in Austria and the wider DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Developed and supported in Austria, with servers in Germany and processing in the EU.

Since 2021, Goma-it has been building AI and automation solutions for businesses in German-speaking countries: document workflows with text recognition (OCR), AI-powered question-answering systems and connections to Microsoft 365.

What you get from us: a knowledge base set up around your documents and the way you organise them, and a flat fee per company instead of a per-user licence. Set-up and support come from one team, end to end.

On the technical side: every company gets its own instance on servers in Germany. The language model that writes the answers runs in a data centre in the EU. Your documents are not used for training – this is set out in the contract, and the data processing agreement (DPA) is included.

An honest assessment first

Not every company needs an AI knowledge base. If you don’t have many documents or another tool suits you better, we’ll tell you in the intro call – and it has cost you half an hour, not a penny.

A flat fee instead of surprises

After the intro call, you receive a quotation with a monthly flat fee and a one-off set-up fee. No licence tiers; the cost of any additional connection is agreed before it is set up.

One team, end to end

We handle both the introduction and the day-to-day running of your knowledge base – you have a dedicated contact instead of a call centre.

Why company knowledge, of all things?

In automation projects for businesses in the DACH region, we kept seeing the same pattern: much of the knowledge that matters in a company isn’t in any system. It is in the heads of long-serving employees, in email threads, in service reports in the filing cabinet – and it disappears when people retire or leave, until all that is left is “Herbert always knew that”.

Records such as invoices and delivery notes are rarely the problem – that is what the ERP is for. What is missing is access to the how: How was the problem solved back then? How is the system set up? How did the process go last time? We built the AI knowledge base for precisely these questions.

Goma-it e.U. also develops process automation for businesses, on the same principle: tools that are set up for the everyday work of a small or medium-sized company, with a contact person who knows them inside out.
