Documents from AUER Success and ABK bills of quantities and invoicing.
Bills of quantities, quotes, supplementary quotes (change orders), measurement sheets, invoices and project correspondence go into your knowledge base – from the project folder, as PDFs and as bill-of-quantities files. Access is read-only; nothing in AUER Success or ABK is changed.
AUER Success & ABK
subject to a feasibility check · folderExample question
“Which item in the bill of quantities for the Sonnenhof project covers the plinth waterproofing?”
1 Answer with sourceConnection
How the connection works
AUER Success is made by NEVARIS Bausoftware near Salzburg, ABK by ib-data in Vienna – two separate products, so we look at each on its own. Before we start, we check whether and how your program can be connected – that depends on the version, your licence, whether it runs locally or hosted, and the vendor’s permissions. junova mirrors the project directory on your server to your own instance, encrypted, read-only and over outbound connections only. Items, quantities and customer and project master data from the program database can come across through a scheduled export.
Once set up, synchronisation runs automatically: new and changed documents from AUER Success & ABK are added without anyone having to upload anything.
Set-upOnce the feasibility check is done, we estimate the effort and agree it with you before anything is set up – with your support partner, if you like. If items and master data from the database are to come across, the export is part of that estimate. The set-up is charged on a time-and-materials basis, agreed in advance.
Documents
Typical content: AUER Success & ABK
- The bill of quantities with its data file under ÖNORM A 2063 (the Austrian standard for tender data exchange) – as it arrives from the designer and as your quote goes back; for older projects, the project folder may still contain data files under the predecessor standards B 2062 and B 2063
- K-sheets under ÖNORM B 2061 (price calculation sheets), which you use to justify a unit price years later if someone questions it
- Price comparison tables and tender documents from bid evaluation – when you award work to subcontractors yourself or check invoices on behalf of a client
- Measurement sheets with the calculation chains behind them – in Success the sheet is called Aufmaßblatt – plus the summary lists and the quantity comparison against the bill of quantities
- Interim and final invoices, daywork reports and price adjustments under ÖNORM B 2111 where variable prices were agreed
- With ABK, also the health and safety plan (SiGe-Plan) with the documentation for later work under ÖNORM B 2107 and the programme, if you handle site coordination under the BauKG (Austrian Construction Site Coordination Act) yourself

Start
Before a connection is set up
This connection is set up for you rather than switched on in one click. Every source has its own logins, permissions and folder structure – so before we start, we check with you whether and how it can be connected at your company. Set-up and maintenance are charged on a time-and-materials basis, agreed in advance; the amount depends on the source.
You can also upload files, whole folders, emails, photos and voice notes at any time. In the demo you see the answers using sample documents from your industry; you check them against your own documents in the first weeks after go-live.
Preliminary check
What we check in advance
Before we start, we look at what you have as files – PDFs, printouts, bill-of-quantities files, data files – and what exists only in the program. A measurement chain kept only in the program can be cited once it is on a sheet; nothing is ever recalculated: quantities, prices and discounts are exactly what the program output, and invoicing stays there. We also check which years your data files come from, since those from before ÖNORM A 2063 are structured differently. The demo shows answers across many years with sample construction documents; you’ll test it with your own data files in the first weeks after go-live.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions about this connection
We have twelve years of construction projects in Success or ABK. Will the old projects come across?
Yes: the first run reads in everything stored as a file in the project directory – including projects that were finally invoiced long ago. Those are exactly the ones that matter for a warranty question: which version of the bill of quantities applied and which measurement the third interim invoice was based on. Anything that exists only in the program’s own data storage can come across through the export; we agree together beforehand how far back to go. Your project files stay as they are.
Our project folders are named after the project, but the program uses project numbers. How does that fit together?
Both stay as they are. The folder structure is read as a way of ordering things – project, year, building section – and the system reads the project number, client and date from the document itself, not from the file name. Where a project changed its name along the way, say from “Sonnenhof” to “BV Sonnenhof, Bauteil II”, the project master data can help bring things together. The document type of each sheet is confirmed by someone during the first run, because it decides who can see it. The demo shows this with sample documents; you’ll test it with your own folders in the first weeks after go-live.
What happens when we move to the next version of the program?
We don’t change anything in the program. Whether an upgrade affects the connection depends on whether the projects stay in the same place and the export keeps the same format. A closer look is needed for a migration that moves file storage too – for example when projects move to a new data store and older years stay behind in the old directory. Let us know in advance and we’ll check which path applies afterwards; the old directory can remain as a separate source. If the export stops, the system reports the gap rather than presenting old data as current.
The site foreman should see the bill of quantities, but not our cost calculation. Is that possible?
Yes, by document type and role rather than file by file: bill of quantities, measurement sheets and site meeting minutes for site management; K-sheets, price comparison tables and post-job costings for management. You can also add a cut-off date, for example if a foreman should see current projects but not those already invoiced. If someone lacks permission, the system tells them so – rather than pretending your documents have no answer. Before we start, we decide together which roles make sense for you.
