Search Notionpages and databases in your AI knowledge base.

The plan is that the Notion pages and databases you share — procedures, project pages, checklists, property lists — come into the knowledge base together with their attached files. Access is designed to be read-only; nothing is changed in Notion.

“According to our procedures page, how does handing over a flat to new tenants work?”

Connection

How the connection is designed

The plan is to grant access through Notion itself: you sign in with your Notion account and select the pages and databases to be read; subpages of a selected page are usually included. Access is read-only and limited to the selected areas — nothing is changed or commented on in Notion. Whether your plan and the settings of the person who manages your workspace allow such a connection is something we check with you beforehand.

Once set up, synchronisation runs automatically: new and changed documents from Notion are added by themselves, without anyone having to upload anything.

Set-upThe connection is made with a click through your Notion account and is included in the setup. We agree beforehand which areas are read — ideally together with the person who manages your Notion workspace. Deeply nested pages and linked databases are something we look at separately.

Documents

Which documents may be stored in Notion

  • The page with procedures and responsibilities — how an order is created, a flat handed over or a system registered
  • Databases of projects, properties or customers, where status, address and responsibility are stored as a property on every entry
  • Project pages per building project or property, with meeting notes, decisions and open points one below the other
  • PDFs, plans and photos dragged straight into a page instead of into a filing system
  • Templates and checklists for recurring work — initial consultation, viewing, acceptance
  • Older pages from the early days that nobody deleted and that still hold the one piece of information you need

Start

Before a connection is set up

The connection is made in one click via the account and is included in the setup. Every source comes with its own logins, permissions and folder logic — we check the prerequisites at your company together beforehand.

Until then, and independently of it, you can upload files, whole folders, emails, photos and voice memos. Before we start, we go through real questions with you to see how the answers look.

Preliminary check

What we check in advance

The plan covers the text of pages, the properties of database entries and attached files. Comments, page history and mentions are not included; whether they are needed is something we discuss. Beforehand, we look at how your pages are nested, where linked databases or embedded content from other services sit, and whether important documents are only stored as an external link — such content does not live in Notion itself. We also clarify beforehand what is kept only on individual people’s private pages.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about this connection

Almost everything we have is a database. Will only a table come through?

The plan is that each database entry is read as a page of its own — including the text in it and properties such as status, address or responsibility as attributes. That way the answer names the entry it is based on, not just the database. Before we start, we go through how this looks with your structure on real questions.

Our Notion pages have grown over the years and are not tidy. Is that a problem?

Usually not, because the search runs through the content, not the page tree. Where a page title or a parent page tells us something, such as a property or a year, we take it along as an attribute. The answer is also designed to show the date of the source, so you can see how old a piece of information is. Tidying up is therefore not a prerequisite.

We create new pages all the time. Does someone have to share each one?

That depends on where they are created. New subpages under a page that has already been shared are usually covered and come in automatically through the sync. A new page at the top level of the workspace or in another teamspace is not covered by the existing authorisation and has to be added separately. We discuss how best to set up your page tree for this during setup.

Our commission overview sits in the same workspace as the property pages. Will everyone see it?

The plan is that permissions in junova depend on document types and roles, not on where something sits in the page tree. Commissions, cost calculations or HR matters can thus be reserved for a smaller group, even if they sit next to the property pages. Pages that should not be read at all you simply do not share. Your sharing settings in Notion remain untouched; we decide together before we start which roles you need.
