Who is behind junova

junova is a product of Goma-it e.U. from Bludenz in Vorarlberg, Austria – developed and supported in Austria, for businesses in Austria and the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

Since 2021, Goma-it has been building AI and automation solutions for businesses in the German-speaking region: document workflows with text recognition (OCR), AI-supported query systems, connections to Microsoft 365.

What you get from us: a knowledge base that is set up for your documents and the way you organise them, and a flat fee per company instead of a licence per head. Setup and support come from a single source.

On the technical side: every company gets its own instance on servers in Germany. The language model that formulates the answers runs in a data centre in the EU. Your documents are not used for training – this is set out in the contract, and the data processing agreement (DPA) is included.

An honest assessment first

Not every company needs an AI knowledge base. If your filing is small or another tool suits you better, we say so in the first conversation – and you have invested half an hour, not a cent.

Why company knowledge, of all things?

In automation projects for businesses in the DACH region, we kept coming across one pattern: much of the knowledge that matters in a company is not in any system. It is in the heads of long-serving employees, in email threads, in service reports in the filing cabinet – and it is lost with retirements and resignations, until all that is left is “Herbert always knew that”.

Records such as invoices and delivery notes are rarely the problem – that is what the ERP is for. What is missing is access to the how: How was the problem solved back then? How is the system set up? How did the process go last time? We built the AI knowledge base for exactly these questions.

Goma-it e.U. also develops process automation for businesses – on the same principle: tools that are set up for the everyday work of a small or medium-sized company, with a contact person who knows them.
