We don’t replace the system you support.

The knowledge base is designed to read documents from the system you support – alongside folders, mailboxes and whatever other documents the company has. The plan is read-only access or an export only; whether and how that works with the system in question, we clarify with you in advance. Your existing business stays your existing business.

Where the connection ends

We don’t write anything back

The plan is read-only access, nothing else. The connection creates no records, changes no master data and rearranges nothing in the database. What is in the system you support stays exactly as your client maintains it there.

We don’t take over maintenance

Updates, licences, support and backups of the system stay with you. We work from an interface or an export — and so we have no reason to suggest anything else to your client either.

We don’t go around your contract

For questions about the system, we send your client back to you, not to the vendor and not to a competitor. What we see of your system, we use only for the connection.

We don’t open anything to the outside

The knowledge base runs as a separate instance on our servers in Germany, not in your client’s network. Data from their network is encrypted and mirrored into this instance only over outgoing connections; no port is opened and no remote access is set up. The details are in the technical description you receive in advance.

What we need from you

Which connection options exist – mirroring a file store, access provided by the vendor or a scheduled export – is described under Systems and connections. For a connection via a database export, there is ongoing support that covers monitoring and adjustment after updates — see Pricing.

Two ways of working together

You keep supporting, we connect

Your client commissions us for the knowledge base; you remain responsible for the system. Whether and how a connection is possible, we clarify with you in advance. If something later goes wrong at the interface, we contact you — not your client.

You bring us into the conversation

If a client asks you how to make their documents searchable, you can bring us in. We appear as what we are: the provider of the knowledge base. For the referral, we agree beforehand how it will be compensated.

Is one of your clients a case for this?

Thirty minutes by phone or video: which system, which interface, which approach is an option. You receive the technical description in the process – even if nothing comes of it.
