Search OneDriveyour own and shared folders in your AI knowledge base.
The plan is that the OneDrive folders you release — quotes, drafts, scans and photos — come into the knowledge base, including folders others have shared with you. The plan is read-only access; nothing in OneDrive is changed.

“Which version of the quote for the electrical installation at the Wimmer house did Mr Gruber file last?”

How the connection is designed
The plan is Microsoft’s official permission flow: you sign in with your Microsoft account and choose the OneDrive folders to be read — your own folders as well as folders colleagues have shared with you. Access is read-only and limited to your selection; nothing in OneDrive is changed. Whether your licence allows this and whether an administrator needs to consent, we check with you in advance.
Once set up, synchronisation runs automatically: new and changed documents from OneDrive are added by themselves, without anyone having to upload anything.
Set-upThe connection is made with a click via your Microsoft account and is included in the setup. Which folders are read — only your own, shared ones too, or also the OneDrives of other employees — we discuss in advance, sensibly together with your Microsoft administrator.
Documents
Which documents may be stored in OneDrive
- The “Documents” folder in your own OneDrive, holding drafts, calculations and interim versions that never made it into the shared filing
- Folders under “Shared with me” — documents a colleague shared from her OneDrive instead of filing them
- Desktop and Documents on workstations, if they are backed up via OneDrive — there is often more there than you would expect
- Files someone shared in a Teams chat rather than in a channel — they sit in the sender’s OneDrive
- Photos from the phone: meter readings, rating plates, distribution boards, damage on site
- Scanned receipts, official notices and signed orders as PDF

Start
Before a connection is set up
The connection is made in one click via the account and is included in the setup. Every source comes with its own logins, permissions and folder logic — we check the prerequisites at your company together beforehand.
Until then, and independently of it, you can upload files, whole folders, emails, photos and voice memos. Before we start, we go through real questions with you to see how the answers look.
Preliminary check
What we check in advance
In advance, we clarify whether this is OneDrive from Microsoft 365 for business or a personal OneDrive — that is a different kind of access. Shared folders belong to the account that shared them: if that account is deleted or the share is withdrawn, the folder drops out of the selection. We check whether sensitivity labels with encryption are in use; such files can only be opened with the matching permission. The plan is the current version of a file; whether older versions from the version history are needed, we discuss. SharePoint and Teams libraries are covered on their own page.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions about this connection
Everyone here has their own OneDrive. Do all accounts come along then?
The plan is that only the folders you select are read. Whether other employees’ OneDrives come along in addition to your own depends on your organisation’s settings and on a decision within your company — personal storage often contains private material too. It usually makes sense to select the working folders specifically. What suits you, we discuss before we start.
Many of our files are only available online. Is that a problem?
The plan is to read via the Microsoft permission, not via a workstation’s hard drive. Whether a file is stored locally on the computer or only online should make no difference. Whether and how that works with your setup, we check with you before we start.
An employee is leaving the company. What happens to his folders?
That depends on what happens to his account. If it is deleted, his OneDrive will at some point no longer be reachable under your organisation’s retention rules, and neither will the folders he shared. Ideally, move important documents to shared storage beforehand. How documents already taken over are handled, we define together in advance; tell us about such changes in good time and we will update the selection.
Can everyone then see what is in the boss’s OneDrive?
Not automatically. Who sees what, you define in junova via document types and roles — for example quotes and inspection reports for the whole team, payroll records and calculations only for certain roles. The sharing settings in OneDrive are not copied one to one and remain untouched. Whether a document counts as a quote or as a payroll record, a person confirms in the first run.
